Palletizing is a typical application used by a manufacturer looking to increase efficiency and reduce worker fatigue and ergonomic issues. Typically used in multi-shift operations with line speeds exceeding 50 to 60 containers a minute or 12 or more cases per minute. However, solutions are available supporting slow and moderate speeds requirements and can support 2-4 cases a minute. Plant Automation Group extensively uses technology supporting the two bookends of automation, Bulk De-Palletizing and Palletization. Equipment is manufactured in the United States, supported locally, and uses non-proprietary components. The following solutions are provided regularly.
Palletizing: System can support cases, trays, bags, and totes. Featuring ultra-smooth case transfers and perfect load positioning and design for rapid change over. Pending project requirement and case in-feed speed, a dedicated palletizing segment may be required for success.
De-Palletizing: System provides consistent flow of product and typically used in the bulk glass or bulk PET segments. Typically used within the bottling and beverage industries and can support a wide array of container sizes pending optional components.
