The cosmetic industry has always been a growing segment and key point of interest for several high priority projects throughout the northeastern United States. This segment of the industry is vast and typically harsh. Plant Automation Group has been called to support some of the United States largest oil and petrochemical companies for both retail and industrial bulk packaged lubricants. These would include a standard 16-ounce F style motor oil container through automation of 55-gallon drum filling systems. Plant Automation Group also has a large focus within Pesticides and home and garden or household cleaners. Supporting fully automatic liquid filling lines from 30 through 150 containers a minute. Offering solutions across various rigid container sizes, from 8 ounces through 10-gallon liquids. Automatic trigger sprayer inserting systems as well as zero downtime labeling solutions provide our customers with fully automatic multi shift production advantages to meet today’s large box store volume requirements. Typical containers/components to include: multiple size PET / HDPE pails, metal pails, metal crimp lidding, plastic pail lidding, bail handle control, round gallon containers, square, aerosols, triggers and pump sprayers, drums, and totes (IBC), carboys (2 1/5 gallons).
As a large portion of our business is generated around powder (free-flowing or non- free flowing) or granule filling, Plant Automation Group offers a true edge in any powder filling application. From bulk processing mixing and blending (major and minor Ingredients). Capsule and tablet encapsulating or pressing and through fully automatic complex powder filling lines utilizing intermittent or continuous motion solutions. The protein powder and health supplement industry has been growing for several years with what seems to be no end in sight. Plant Automation Group has been called upon to automate several protein facilities over the years supporting both small rigid PET containers through large rigid 10 to 15-pound containers, running at speeds upwards of 50 containers a minute.
